Friday night sew-in - October Edition

Woot!  Friday night sew-in is back.  For October, I plan to work on a Halloween quilt.  Sure, I already have one Halloween quilt, but is one ever enough?  This month's sew-in happens on October 15th.  Quilt, knit, watch TV shows about quilting and knitting, whatever you want to do.  Then on October 16th, brush yourself off and post pictures of what you've done on the Friday night sew-in flickr page.  Details are available on Handmade by Heidi's blog. 

Friday Night Sew-In - August edition

Friday Night Sew-in is back!  Join your fellow quilters, knitters, sewers and all around good people for a night of sewing.  Post your pictures on Saturday on the Friday Night Sew-In Flicker page and check back there to admire the work of the other Friday night participants.  It's a great time and a wonderful way to connect with some very talented people on-line.  Click here to sign up!

Friday Night Quilting

Let's get ready for some Friday night quilting!  On Friday, July 23rd, the blog Handmade by Heidi will be hosting a virtual quilting bee and I plan on participating.  It's like quilting with others from the comfort of your own home.  And, if you want to enjoy an adult beverage or two, there's no designated driver to arrange.  It's really a win/win situation.
